Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games
In an MMORPG players build a character or a party of characters and move around a large scale virtual worlds exploring, developing their characters, and going on quests. Players generally start by choosing a name, appearance, and starting characteristics for their character. Throughout the course of play, the players guide their characters around the world, choosing to complete quests or training that interests them, and ignoring things that do not. The characters generally have a class, such as mage or thief, an a alignment, like good or evil, and a level that indicates how their skills and strengths compare to others they meet along the way. Skills may be limited to certain classes, and may be easier or more difficult to learn depending on a character's class. The player chooses what skills to develop as they progress through the game.
RPG games feature non-linear game play, where characters move around the world completing Quests and performing actions on their own agenda. Players sometimes develop more than one character so that they can play in different styles depending on their mood.

- Auto generation of the world that allows interesting large worlds to be created from a set of textures and models.
- Large numbers of players moving around the map at the same time.
- Auto generation of quests, monsters, or enemies to keep the game play moving forward.
